BCREA predicts that in 2012, home prices across BC will show a slower increase due to the slower job growth in the province.
For instance, in the Greater Vancouver Region, sales are to grow 7.9% in 2011 with an average price of $769,000. In 2012, however, sales are predicted to grow only 2.7%, where the average price is forecasted to be $742,000, 3.5 % less compared to 2011.
