For larger shopping, entertainment and dining excursions, Capilano Mall on Marine Drive or the Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Van are a short drive away. In addition, there are 6 private and 2 catholic schools in the North Vancouver area.
Vancouver’s North Shore is very accessible by car via the Lions Gate or Iron Workers Memorial Bridge. A well-developed public bus system through Translink, means good access to the Trans Canada Highway and downtown Vancouver. The Seabus passenger ferry service links Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver to downtown Vancouver in a scenic 12 minute ferry ride.
