Inside ‘The Village’ is Stahaken, an enclave of prestigious homes built on land leased from the Tsawwassen First Nation.

Only minutes away from English Bluff in Tsawwassen are the 56th Street shops and services. Residents have easy access to major grocery stores, banks and an abundance of pubs and restaurants. Popular retail destinations include Save-On-Foods, Thrifty Foods, the White Spot plus many unique local shops and services. Of course there’s new retail heaven for all of sunny Tsawwassen’s residents with Tsawwassen Mills, just a few more minutes away along Highway 17 near the ferry terminal. Now a major shopping destination for people all acrosss the Lower Mainland, Tsawwassen Mills features over 1.2 million square feet including Rona, Walmart & British Columbia’s only Bass Pro Sports. Tsawwassen Commons right next door features Canadian Tire, Mark’s & Nando’s. We would be amiss not to mention the historic Tsawwassen Beach Store located on English Bluff Road first opened in 1930. Today the new store still provides groceries and sundry items for locals.
Recreation options for English Bluff denizens include Tsawwassen Beach, the ideal place for an evening walk, dog walking or sunsets. The staircase down to the water is Tsawwassen’s mini- version of the Grouse Grind, a popular destination for fitness enthusiasts. Access to the beach is through Fred Gingell Park, a lovely green escape in the English Bluff neighbourhood. The lookout offers magnificent vistas of the Gulf Islands and beyond. Just a short drive from English Bluff are Beach Grove and Tsawwassen Springs Golf Clubs – both challenging 18 hole golf courses.
Nearby schools include English Bluff Elementary with grades K to 7. Minutes away is South Delta Secondary School with grades from 8 to 12. Other education options include École du Bois-Joli, a public french immersion school and Southpointe Academy private school offering grades K to 12.
For transportation, English Bluff is mere minutes from the BC Ferry Terminal along Highway 17 and approximately 30 minutes to downtown Vancouver depending on tunnel traffic. For transit there is a community shuttle bus along English Bluff Road and Coast Mountain Bus Service to Ladner and Canada Line stations in Richmond and Vancouver.
