Sonora Dunes is a shorter par-35 track famous for beautifully manicured greens. While Nk’mip Canyon Desert Golf Course is now a world-class 18-hole championship course. The outstanding Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre and an architectural marvel with displays, galleries, hands-on learning and a theatre. The unique desert grasslands attracts cyclists for high road, back road, off road and BMX biking adventures. Building sand castles and going for a swim on local beaches is de regeur in Osoyoos with Cottonwood Park, Goodman Park & Gyro Beach along Lakeshore Drive. You’ll find Osoyoos Dog Park is an excellent choice for fourleggeds of all sizes. Sẁiẁs Provincial Park at Haynes Point is part of the original territory of the Osoyoos Indian Band and is a popular camping and RV destination. Connecting to Highway #3 to southern BC and with Burlington Northern Intermodel railway, modern travel links give local business a competitive advantage. BC Transit provides daily bus service from Osoyoos to Penticton on Route #40 with stops including Penticton Airport, Cherry Lane Shopping Centre & Okanagan College.
